Marine & Ship Deck

Warping Drums, Cable Lifters, Capstans and Keyside Bollards are typical marine components manufacture at Thomas Clarke. Certain of our customers require this type of casting tested and witnessed to Lloyds approval.

Recently overhauled, this vessel belonging to the Maritime Trust was supplied by Thomas Clarke with new fire bars for her boiler.

Wear Resisting

We supply a variety of wear resisting components in Steel and Iron to crusher manufactures and quarries. All inquiries are welcome, be they batch quantities or one-offs.

Gear Wheels

Over the years our involvement in casting gear parts has grown considerably. Gear Wheels, up to 3 meters in diameter, either in halves or whole are easily catered for in either Iron, Steel or SG Iron. Gear Boxes and associated parts along with smaller gears, as shown in the picture are one of our main running lines.

General Engineering castings

Providing we have metal capacity and the component is in our size range most casting enquiries are considered.

Shown in the picture to the right is a goose neck casting used for lifting and transporting trailers which often have a weight in excess of 150 tonnes.
